It’s not just about client acquisition — it’s not just about playing the numbers game. It’s about choosing to work with clients that you know you can provide excellent service to. That’s what Pretty Klicks creative agency tells us about in this week’s second client tale. We decided to double up since we have sooo many clients we hope to show off, and, after all, it is Quote Roller’s Client Appreciation Week. Thank YOU!
Jennifer Riggins: Could you please briefly introduce yourself and tell us what your business is about?
Stefan Pretty: Hi, I’m the founder and Managing Director of Pretty Klicks Ltd. Pretty Klicks is a young and exciting full-service creative and technical agency based in Edinburgh. We specialize in various fields such as web design, SEO, social media optimization as well as branding and more.
Jen: Why did you start it?
Stefan: I have been making websites since I was 11 years old and quickly became passionate about the power of a strong Internet presence. I’ve also always wanted to run my own business, pretty sure I’m impossible to manage anyway…
Jen: What makes it unique?
Stefan: The industry we’re in is highly competitive with many companies competing for big clients. Although we are competitive ourselves, we like to think outside the box when it comes to the services we provide. Being creative and distinctive is something that we strive for, with our client’s best interest at heart. We seize any innovative opportunity that we see and look forward to seeing the immediate positive outcome. Furthermore, to prove we really care about the work we produce, we won’t take a client on board unless we are confident we can help them to achieve online.
Jen: What do you love about being an entrepreneur?
Stefan: Realistically (and you might be surprised by this), it’s more of a love-hate relationship than just love. I love creating, achieving and the buzz when we win. So I guess I do actually love it otherwise I wouldn’t be doing it however, with everything comes balance: Highest highs and the lowest lows.
Jen: How do you envision success?
Stefan: Success can be measured in various different ways depending on your goals. As a company we measure it in terms of our clients’ satisfaction and happiness level. Not forgetting the obvious KPI’s such as turnover. In terms of personal success: I think it’s when you master what it is you set out to learn or achieve.
Jen: How did you hear about Quote Roller?
Stefan: I actually heard about it from a blog post about business tools. It just so happened we came across the right blog post!
Jen: Why did you decide to try our app?
Stefan: We were reviewing our sales process and it made sense to give it a shot especially as an early company when we can remain agile. It now fits nicely with our daily processes.
Upon researching, we read numerous positive reviews about Quote Roller. We were looking for a versatile product that was efficient and easy to use with the right features to help us tailor our business to each client and help us keep track of our numbers. Quote Roller was an obvious choice.
Jen: How does Quote Roller help your business?
Stefan: Quote Roller has helped us compose sleek and detailed proposals that get our points across in a professional format. Moreover it helps us gain an insight into our potential clients’ decision with support from the in-proposal analytics feature which in turn helps improve our performance on a case by case basis as we learn from each proposal. With a great user interface and the ability to add our own creative spin to the document, Quote Roller has helped streamline our proposal stage to deliver the best pitch to our client.
Jen: What would you tell your friends about Quote Roller?
Stefan: I would tell them to not waste any time comparing proposal services and to go for Quote Roller as there is no other proposal service out there that offers the same responsive and efficient features as Quote Roller does.
Jen: Have you seen any winning rate increases?
Stefan: It’s still early days but it’s definitely allowed us to identify our pitfalls and also to chase up clients at the appropriate time knowing when they have looked at the proposal. It means we can be more gentle in the whole sales process and actually give the experience we want to give to our clients, a relaxed but professional and efficient one.
Jen: Any other delightful numbers?
Stefan: Quote Roller has already proven it’s value for money and technically paid for itself within the first month, can’t argue with that! We also know it will become more and more useful the more we use it by saving us time, money and hassle guessing what works in our proposal and what doesn’t.
