Custom domains, SSL, and more

Quote Roller continues to evolve and today we would like to announce 2 major features to our estimating software which have been added to version 1.4 of the app. These features were implemented thanks to the feedback received from our customers. Therefore, if you would like to see any enhancements or changes, please don’t hesitate to email us. Be sure that we are going to put it on our development road map.

Custom Domains

After account customization was finished a few weeks ago, we’ve been getting lots of requests to add custom domain support to the Quote Roller. And here we go – yourcompany.quoteroller.com is now something you can easily configure via the settings on your account.
To enable a custom domain on an existing account, please go to account settings->company->domain name->change the domain name.

We’ll be adding even more flexibility to allow you running an account in your own domain, e.g. proposals.yourcompany.com.

SSL Support

You can now be sure that all activity on your Quote Roller account is protected by a 256-bits encrypted SSL certificate. For secure work with Quote Roller, just use https when accessing your Quote Roller account. It’s that easy!

Account Use

There is a new tab under account settings related to the usage on your account. As you can imagine, eventually we’ll have billing tied in there. However, good news is that Quote Roller will remain completely free until the end of July.

Currencies and number formats

In order to localize the application, we have also added a number of currencies as well as options to change the numbers formatting within your account settings. Rest assured that we will do our best to make Quote Roller more useful for those people whose clients are used to speaking languages other than English.
