    I have not read “RFPs Suck”, but, as they are an integral part of what I do, have to agree with the sentiment. I would love to be able to get to the front end of where the RFPs are being generated to educate the writers on a better way of doing business. Today the process is too cryptic, causing a lot of wasted time, effort, and money and resulting in long evaluation processes, protests, and contracts that do not satisfy the true needs. Until we can address the problems at the front end, mastering the development of proposals in response to poor RFPs is a necessary though insufficient fix.

    Wonderful. I also want to see these books! I want to try and incorporate commercial advertising withing my proposal. Most clients are visual, most only have a few minutes to look over what your selling them. It’s great we live in a age of technology and we have a proposal software to send out instead of doing so much door to door. Think back to Kernal Sanders from KFC, that man wore a white suit everyday, slept in his truck and went door to door to sell??? “Chicken”. He became wealthy because he believe in his idea and knew that in order to make a business work thousands of people need to see it. A business becomes reconizable by selling as much as you can.
