Updates just keep rollin’ in!

The updates keep coming and coming! In the three weeks since we last had an update, we’ve been busy little bees!

What do we have for you? Well, we’ve doubled the template library, redesigned our proposals, enabled integration with external applications and more! Check out what we’ve done and don’t forget to tell us what you’d like to see next! This is all for you!

Our proposal template library has doubled!

From Solar Panel installation to WordPress blog management, we have about 15 more templates and they keep coming! Is your sector not on the list? We want to know! Then you have two options — you can subscribe for that template, so you’ll know as soon as it’s ready OR help us out and share with us a general template for your field. It’s good karma and crowd-sourcing’s all the rage anyway.

What do you think of our new proposal design?

We’re asking for your feedback regarding new proposal design. We’ve rolled it out on our public site to test first and the results are great. What do you think about it? Do you like it?

iFrame integration

We’ve been looking for an easy way to integrate Quote Roller with external applications our users are using. Our LiveFrame is a way to easily integrate your application with Quote Roller and to get all the contact’s information from Quote Roller, and then to show it in an iframe within your app.

Just enable LiveFrame and a unique URL will be generated. Plug this URL into the iframe on your side and pass only one parameter — email of the contact. If there is such person in Quote Roller, all the proposals sent to this client will be shown in the iframe. If there is no such client on our side, we offer you to create it in Quote Roller.

API Beta is live

Finally we’ve released public preview of our API. All the documentation is found here. We will be rolling invites slowly. The first batch will be rolled to the users who registered to preview via the blog. We will send an invitations soon. Meanwhile, check the docs and let us know what’s missing and what you would like to see in API.

And other fun stuff within the software…

Now you can easily save price lists. We’ve added an easy way to save reusable price lists to your catalog right from the pricing table page. Do you fill in the same data over and over again? Just save it as a price list and reuse it later.
You can place our new built-in signature block anywhere on the document or just completely remove it if you want to use external app for this. No more hassle with custom CSS to disable it.
Finally, you can put gentle pressure on your undecided client with our “Proposal Valid until…” expiration date. Proposal exipiration date is shown on web version of a proposal as well as available as token in Template Editor.
