Jennifer Riggins: Could you please briefly introduce yourself and tell us what your business is about?
Stefan Pretty: Hi, I’m the founder and Managing Director of Pretty Klicks Ltd. Pretty Klicks is a young and exciting full-service creative and technical agency based in Edinburgh. We specialize in various fields such as web design, SEO, social media optimization as well as branding and more.
Jen: Why did you start it?
Stefan: I have been making websites since I was 11 years old and quickly became passionate about the power of a strong Internet presence. I’ve also always wanted to run my own business, pretty sure I’m impossible to manage anyway…
Jen: What makes it unique?
Stefan: The industry we’re in is highly competitive with many companies competing for big clients. Although we are competitive ourselves, we like to think outside the box when it comes to the services we provide. Being creative and distinctive is something that we strive for, with our client’s best interest at heart. We seize any innovative opportunity that we see and look forward to seeing the immediate positive outcome. Furthermore, to prove we really care about the work we produce, we won’t take a client on board unless we are confident we can help them to achieve online.
Jen: What do you love about being an entrepreneur?
Stefan: Realistically (and you might be surprised by this), it’s more of a love-hate relationship than just love. I love creating, achieving and the buzz when we win. So I guess I do actually love it otherwise I wouldn’t be doing it however, with everything comes balance: Highest highs and the lowest lows.
Jen: How do you envision success?
Stefan: Success can be measured in various different ways depending on your goals. As a company we measure it in terms of our clients’ satisfaction and happiness level. Not forgetting the obvious KPI’s such as turnover. In terms of personal success: I think it’s when you master what it is you set out to learn or achieve.
Jen: How did you hear about Quote Roller?
Stefan: I actually heard about it from a blog post about business tools. It just so happened we came across the right blog post!
Jen: Why did you decide to try our app?
Stefan: We were reviewing our sales process and it made sense to give it a shot especially as an early company when we can remain agile. It now fits nicely with our daily processes.
