Jen Riggins: Could you please briefly introduce yourself and tell us what your business is about?
Josh Zweig: We’re Canada’s first online accounting firm allowing today’s mobile entrepreneurs to connect directly to a Chartered Accountant wherever, whenever. Our philosophy is that accounting is no longer just about doing taxes, but also about technology. The more accessible your accountant is, and the more informed they are about accounting technology, the more value they can add to your business.
Jen: Why did you start it? What makes it unique?
Josh: Needless to say, accountants don’t have the best reputation as being innovative and cutting edge! We’re looking to change that and show business owners the value that an accountant who’s familiar with tech can bring to a business.
Jen: What do you love about being an entrepreneur?
Josh: No day is a dull day! I love the fact that when I encounter something new, I can just try it out! Whether it’s creating a client-focused back-office system or as simple as just trying out a new app (like Quote Roller!) and seeing if it works in the business – when it works and clients appreciate it, it’s a great feeling!
Josh: Lifestyle. If we can keep our clients happy and at the same time I can spend time with family/friends and play some flamenco guitar (just started lessons) I’ll feel pretty successful.
Jen: How did you hear about Quote Roller? Why did you decide to try our app?
Josh: I heard about you guys from a group of “forward thinking accountants” (yes, I know, there is such a thing) called Thriveal. They were using it in their practices so I thought I’d give it a go.
Jen: How does Quote Roller help your business?
